Someones taken their love of Scream movies one step too far.

I'm a pretty damn cool guy, I rock my leather jackets collar up. I wear my pants sagged down so that my stained polka-dot boxers peak out from underneath. I'm usually cold and aloof about my feelings, I sprinkle words like "totes" and "gnarly" into everyday conversation. I also (insert one more bad ass thing here) . Basically, I'm the coolest thing under the sun. But nothing brings the secret dork out of me like a Scream movie.
Those damn Scream movies! It's the one series (X-men excluded) that can put me into full tilt Fan boy mode. I check the websites for the latest updates. I feed on production gossip like it sustains me and yes I even frequent the fan forums to dissect, argue and even countdown to the latest happenings of our beloved Woodsboro crew. I nerd out, I admit it. I've come to terms with it. Scream is the Star wars of horror films and I'm sleeping overnight at the ticket booth dressed as Princess Leia. Between Kevin Williamsons razor-sharp scripts, Wes Cravens brisk and tormenting at the drop of a dime eye, and a trio of characters I've grown to love, these films are cinematic crack.
The fascination started at 13, captivated by the commercials for this R rated film, that seemed so taboo and so painfully cool at the same ti
me. Months after its initial run in theaters I was finally able to see it, (thank you early pay-per-view) It hooked me. It was the horror movie that was smarter than horror movies. These characters existed in our world. It was approachable horror and it opened the floodgates for my love of the genre, something I will always be grateful to the series for doing.
Riveting
, Shocking and addicting all at once. Scream delivered!
When news of casting for the
sequel began to leak, and I learned that my favorite ingénue at the time, Sarah michelle-gellar (Swans Crossing 4Life!) , and an actual black person would be in it, Jada Pinkett (giving Ms. Drew a run for her money) They had me, hook line and sinker.
After seeing scream 2 opening night (thanks mom), I was officially full on obsessed.

A sequel that in my opinion was better than the original!
Kevin Williamson became my god, and I discovered a new fascination with celluloid.
It would surprise those who aren't fans of the series to know how many people of my generation the Scream films have inspired to become writers and filmmakers. There is an energy about the movies, a freshness that I liken to Tarantino’s early oeuvre.
Naturally, as Scream 3 reared it's head I devoured every new piece of informati
on I could. Kevin Williamson was too busy, with his new television series Wasteland, to pen the third and reportedly final installment. So they brought in Ehren Krueger (the Ring, Arlington Road), to write the script, big mistake!. I won't recount all the hoopla and drama associated with this decision .. It’s been discussed ad-nauseum on-line, simply search "Scream 3 mess" . The Series suffered, Ehren just didn't get "it". The voice, the intelligence of the first two films was muffled by a cliché' ,Scooby doo mystery vibe. Scream 3 disappointed critically and was the least successful of the original trilogy. Scream had become what it was sent out to kill, what should have ended the Iconic series with a bang ended in a whimper.
Kevin Williamson, is Scream; period. That is why fans rejoiced when we'd learned that he would be returning for sole writing duties on Scream 4. The voice was back! Kevins idea for the 4th film was apparently so good it convinced the ever weary star of the Scream films Neve Campbell, Wes Craven, Courtney Cox and David Arquette to return Everyone was back.
Now
11 years after Scream 3, an excitement that I have not felt for the release of a film since , well the third one, has returned. Stronger than ever. I'm trolling the forums. I'm buying the Limited edition magazine covers and Dammit I'm counting down till the release of this epic series. (there are red X’s on my wall calendar if you wanna take a look). Will it be worth the wait? Early test screenings have been incredibly positive, most reviews calling it the best of all the sequels... seeing as how much I loved Scream 2, that's saying a hell of a lot. With a fresh new cast that includes Alison brie, Emma Roberts, Hayden Pantierre, Adam Brody, Veronica Mars, and a bunch of actresses from CW shows that I'm too old to watch, buzz is deafening for Scream 4, and I'm not ashamed to admit that if you listen close enough, you can hear my voice among them.
Scream 4
comes out April 15th!

The Short & Precise Movie Review

Idiocracy 2006

An army shulb (Luke Wilson) and a sassy prostitute, played to perfection by (Maya Rudolph)… Ordered by the government to become apart their Human Hibernation experiment, when the project gets lost in shuffle, the mis-match pair are forgotten and awake to the year 3001. Where a Pro-Wrestler resides in the White House, law degrees can be purchased at Costco’s and Starbucks has a merger with the “Oldest Profession in the World”. A clever spoof with a satirical wit based on corporate sponsorship, consumerism and a spot on ability to exaggerate the current culture trends. Smart imagery filled in with clever little details. A generic comedy with a spunky attitude and a trivial thought provoking premise.

Clerks 1994
True cult indie, directed by Kevin Smith. Slackers Dante (Brian O’halloran) and sidekick Randall (Jeff Anderson) are clerks. Somewhere between dealing with irate customers they find time for roof hockey, an off-beat love triangle and a romp to the funeral parlor. This film has a crude sense of realism and a raunchy comedic edge, with a voyeuristic type presence. Vintage style black and white, raw budget, real wit, great dialogue.

Drowning Mona 2000

The most despised women in town, Mona Dearly (Bette Midler), careens her car off a cliff. Ironically, the town mourns in a celebratory manner. This is a perfect character driven cast; featuring Danny Devito, Neve Campbell, Jamie Lee Curtis and Casey Affleck. Innovating and daring, very much a farce abstraction that’s made memorable. Every character has unique personas, which give the film a non-predictable story line. The film location is rustic backwoods’ forest, an eclectic realism. The Yugos are a faultless touch. A dark comedy that is well written, with welcomed newness from the cast.

Do You Like To Watch Scary Movies?

These quotes are the reason why I started watching Dawson's Creek (KW reference)

“Movies don't create psychos, movies make psychos more creative!”

"Liver alone!"

“Please don't kill me Mr. Ghostface, I wanna be in the sequel!”

"What's the point they're all the same, some stupid killer stalking some big-breasted girl who can't act who is always running up the stairs when she should be running out the front door, it's insulting."

Who Should Be Cast in the New Grey’s Anatomy Spinoff??

So as you already know, Grey’s Anatomy---the best show in prime time television (according to Jamie) —is giving birth to a baby Grey’s Anatomy. In the TV world it’s called a "spin off".
Now, there have already been some actors attached to this show. We all know that
Kate Walsh (Dr. Addison Montgomery) is going to leave Seattle and moving to Los Angeles (where the show is set to take place).

We also know that
Taye Diggs will play a doctor on the show. Not sure if he’s Addison’s love interest, or just a co-worker, but I’m sure eventually they’ll be knockin boots.

Here are ABC’s choices so far for the new L.A. doctors:

Kate Walsh (as Dr. Addison Montgomery)
Taye Diggs
Merrin Dungey (Sandy on Boston Legal)
Amy Brenneman (known from Judging Amy)
Chris Lowell (from the now canceled Vernoica mars)
Tim Daly (he was on that show Wings)
Paul Adelstein (from Prison Break)

Ok is it me or does this cast make you want to fall asleep? Damn what a Boring Vanilla ass, CBS movie of the week collective this is, if Shonda wants this show to be able to come out from under the shadows of its original jugguranaut hit then they will need to add some interesting actors into the mix.

So we at NYIndieSeen, feel that first and foremost, we should be Hollywood casting directors. I mean just look at our picks for Spider man 4…casting at its best right?

**Disclaimer: we include actors who we WOULD NOT cast in Spidey 4 too if u choose to browse that blog**

Now back to Grey’s…so here are our pick for who should be cast in the new Grey’s Anatomy spin off!!

Tamara Taylor – she’s the cutey from Party Of Five that got it on with Matthew Fox, she can play the neuro surgeon who cant find love, or something

Victoria Rowell – why not? She’s had experience playing a doctor on TV and she's definetly believable, plus I want to see her gettin it on with a babeolicious new intern!

Jonathan Jackson – As the hot young gay intern that needs to be shown the ropes…and we’re not talking medicine here! OKayyyyy

Lisa Bonet – Of course as the hippy dippy bohemian doctor whose penchant for Holistic medicine clashes with the hospitals practices.

Jay Hernandez – Six Degrees is canceled right? He needs a job, plus he could make for a fine ass doctor.

Boris Kodjoe – the sexy new resident…the ultimate eye candy!! , I think I'm catching a fever

Haley Joel Osment – remember Doogie Howser M.D.? It could work right? It be kinda scandalous if he got it on with one of the residents though!, Plus he sees dead people.

Marissa Tomei – she'd be the sassy independent surgeon, plus ,wouldn’t you want Marissa to operate on you?

Lindsay Price - As the young go getter intern with an imposing family (sorta like a Cristina-in-waiting)

Blair Underwood – the new McDreamy

Neve Campbell – I miss Neve! She needs to comeback to TV and star on this show! I can see her as a resident who gets caught up with an intern

Sarah Gilbert – the obligatory lesbian doctor who is willing to prove that her sexuality is only a trivial part of who she is, but she initiates a sexual awakening to some of the female doctors on staff

Meredith Salenger – Patrick Dempsey made an 80’s comeback why not Meredith? Plus she’s still cute and her nick name could be Dr. Dream a Lil Dreamette

Dennis Haskins – Chief of Staff. Okay, I know we could be going out on a limb..but wouldn’t it be cool if Mr. Belding was the chief? It would be high school all over again!!

Seen O' the day: Scream 2:Buffy Bites the Dust

In this scene from the 1998 hit Wes craven Horror sequel, Perennial Vampire slayer , Sarah Michelle Gellar, meets an untimely fate. Love the Pacing, Love the crackling dialogue, and the suspense is a little weak but this is definitely one of the best scenes from the Movie

Indie Pick 'O' the day: The Company

Neve campbell, gives one of her best performances to date as a Ballet Dancer in The Company. The film, which was directed by legendary filmmaker Robert Altman, works as more of a ensemble, which it appears Altman is most comfortable with. The entire company is the star of this production .
The film, follows dancers, choreographers and office staff from the Joffrey ballet of Chicago, and there attempts to stage a production it is based on actual anecdotes and stories from the Joffrey staff, and it shows.

The film isn't an excite a minute feature but the dance performances tend to make up for it. though a small subplot involving a relationship between Campbell and James Franco is thrown in for good measure, it is obvious where the real focus is... the dance.

Campbell handles her acting and dancing with ease (she is a former professional dancer) she also co wrote and co produced the film , it was apparently a labor of love for Campbell years in the making, and her excitement for the project comes across on screen.

Sex scenes

you know what my favorite part of a movie is?, not the part where everyone lives happily ever after or the lead character survives a barrage of obstacles to come out triumphant and stronger as a person in the end. NO my favorite part of the movie, is the Sex scene, and I'm not talking about a "love scene either"

None of the romantical bullshit. I'm talking some real hardcore bang it out sex! I mean that's what intimacy is really about right? Its not about all that lovey dovey soul mates shit it's about getting Buckwild wit it!

Hmmm, maybe that's why we're single... '

Anyways here is our joint list of some of our Fave Sex scenes on celluloid ......

..in a mainstream film anyways

The Dreamers: Michael Pitt, Eva Greene and Louis Gerrel make a tantalizing threesome in this explicit Bernardo Bertolucci film.
that and you get to see some quality Pitt Peen.

Factory Girl: caught this one at the original test screening, I'm not sure if they edited anything out for the official theatrical release, but yeah Hayden and sienna were definitely Boneing in that one. Realest sex scene EVER!

___________
:
.
:
:
Mysterious Skin: The camera focuses on the face of (the hotness that is) Joseph Gordon Levitt while he gets head from some fat middle aged john, but we get to see every exquisite expression on the Hotness's face, and there's nothing sexxier than that....sigh

White men Can't jump: Rosie Perez and Woodie Harrelson, I don't know what it is about this scene, maybe its the ferocious sweatiness but it does it for me every time

Jasons's Lyric: Jada Pinkett smith and Allen Payne break our hearts in this poignant Drama that initially received an NC-17 rating, yeah its a bit more "romantic" then most of the other entries but its still a scorcher

Y tu mamá también: the final kiss between Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego luna, was enough to get this thoroughly provocative film on our list. yummers

Every Fucking scene, On The L Word: I know its not a movie but whatevez this Addictive showtime series consistently packs on the hot girl on girl action, and we bow down to the lusciousness that is Jennifer Beals
AHHH

True Romance - Ain't nuthin like bumpin uglies inside a telephone booth. Yeah thatz hot! Especially when you're doin it with Christian Slater (pre-fugly years though)

Body Of Evidence - Madonna of course would have to star in a film that has one of the hottest sex scenes. The whole masochistic-pour-hot-candle-wax-all-over-my-body-bit always makes for some good lovin.

Fatal Attraction - The best one night stand ever! These two can't even wait to get inside of the apartment, they start goin at it inside of the elevator! Hotness.

Unfaithful - Adrian Lyne surely knows how to make sex scenes work. He had us shaking inside when Olivier Martinez touched Diane Lane.

9 1/2 Weeks - Another Lyne favorite. Nothing goes better with sex than food. Using food as foreplay a diabetics fantasy

Dead Calm - Yea, this wasn't exactly consensual, but it wasn't exactly forced either. Something about this sex scene is hot even though Billy Zane is sooo bad.

Brokeback Mountain - Actually i was expecting a lil more full frontal action, but the subtlty can be kinda of hot especially when he spits on his hand and shoves it down Jakes.
...... yeah

Wild Things - Classic, Neve Campbell, Matt dillon and Denise Richards in her prime, we love a good threesome and this one definetly delivers. I'm still waiting to try out that champagne move.
