This movie is creepy. It’s basically about a group of classmates in the hipster district of Tokyo, that start mysteriously receiving voicemail messages from their future “selves” in the form of the sound of them reacting to their own violent deaths.
The creepiest aspect of this film is the ring tone of their cell phone. Apparently they all have the same deadly ring tone. How scary is that when all the sudden your phone rings and it’s a ring tone you’ve never heard before! chills
The exact date and time of each of their deaths are predicted in the message log of their cell phone. So the technology of each of these guy’s phones are pretty advanced….I mean like they have to have that message log feature on their phone in order for the whole date and time of death predictions to work right?
Right.
There are moments when the story fell a little flat, but I give the writers credit for coming up with a new age story about a cell phone that can predict one’s own death.

Apparently an American version of this film is being made. Why do we always have to make remakes of great Asian horror flicks?
I mean why cant they just release the original versions, and dub it or something for those ID's that dont like to read, because we kinda suck at the whole remake thing.
The new version will star Ed Burns and
Shannyn Sossamon. Hmm..ok?? Not the kind of casting I would expect, but what the hell right?
