The next Media Coalition of Artists of Color networking salon will be November 30, 2009 and features a talk with Neema Barnette, a pioneering filmmaker among African American women in film and TV. This event is being held at the Dwyer Cultural Center in Harlem and hosted by the International Communication Association with the Harlem Arts Alliance.The International Communication Association is reaching out to alumni of the Community Film Workshop, Third World Cinema, and Institute of New Cinema Artist (INCA) and encourages them all to register and attend this event.The Media Coalition of Artist of Color includes African American Women in Cinema, Asian Cinevision, BFF, Black Documentary Collective, Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment, dvRepublic, National Association of Latino Independent Producers, and Tribeca All Access.
