Mulholland Dr. (2001) Dir. David Lynch
One of the most peculiar storytelling directors of our generation, David Lynch's film tells the story of a young actress who travels to Hollywood and gets involved in a dark conspiracy involving another woman who was nearly murdered. The woman now has amnesia because of a car crash. Eventually, both women are pulled into a psychotic illusion involving a dangerous blue box, a filmmaker, and a myterious nite club.
The movie takes you on a whirlwind ride of make-believe and reality and through it all you can decipher which is which in true "Lynchian" style.
