Christopher Street TV

The staff at NYIndieSeen loves to hang out in all areas of Manhattan. One of my favorite spots is the West Village. There are so many events that take place there and its a completely different society than the rest of the island. Here is an article from the Christopher Street Series:

Christopher Street is in the heart of the West Village or as many people may know it Greenwich Village. In the Village you can have quite an experience you can witness lots of diversity. Be it young or old, men or women, big or small and not to mention it is the center of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender community. The Village is the Gay Capitol of the world. Where you can enjoy shopping, eating, and explore the gay lifestyle and the gay culture that follows. A place filled with excitement and laughter. But as the gay society knows everything isn't the way it always sounds.

Christopher Street the series follows the truth that hides within the Village. From the perspective of four young gay adults. Each dealing with their own individual trouble. Whether its being in the closet, dealing with relationships, abuse, identity, self-love, HIV/AIDS, and the harassment that lies with in a homophobic society. Christopher Street never fails to examine the reality of what goes on with today's younger gay generation.

This show bridges the gap of lacked knowledge by enlightening the world with the truth of being a young gay adult. Christopher Street is an independent DVD series that is currently available.
